Logan

Ideally situated between Queensland’s capital, Brisbane, and tourist destination the Gold Coast, Logan is one of Australia's fastest-growing areas. The area has attracted numerous multinational businesses looking to capitalise on the city’s enviable location and growth potential. The Queensland Government's investment in the Logan Enhancement Project has translated to more jobs, a stronger economy, and significant population growth. Logan’s population is expected to grow by 43%, reaching approximately 540,000 residents by 2046. The growth is driving a high level of infrastructure investment in the region. Logan offers accessibility to bushlands whilst conveniently situated on the Brisbane to Gold Coast train line, allowing easy transport for commuters.

Why Logan?

Located in South East Queensland, Logan offers high growth and high yields. One of the main priorities for Logan City Council is to build a sense of community, and they have committed to providing a further $1.2 billion of infrastructure, ensuring the community has access to first-class amenities. Logan is home to a network of centres, including four primary activity centres: Springwood, Logan Central, Meadowbrook and Beenleigh. These activity centres play an important role in the prosperity and liveability of the growing city. They’re located near major transport infrastructure and provide a growth corridor of state significance for development, employment and services.

Logan's gross regional product is estimated at $18.24 billion, reflecting a 2.95% increase from the previous year. Additionally, Logan has experienced significant local job growth with the largest industry being Health Care and Social Assistance, which generated over 24,000 local jobs in 2023/24.
